Carolyn is a seasoned Physiotherapist, graduating from the esteemed University of Sydney in 1996. With a career spanning across the United Kingdom and Australia, she has amassed a wealth of expertise in various domains. Specialising in sports and spinal rehabilitation, musculoskeletal disorders and pre- and post-pregnancy management, Carolyn has been an advocate for clinical Pilates for over 22 years, having completed Levels 1-4 Clinical Pilates training through Dance Medicine Australia.
In addition to her extensive Pilates background, Carolyn has diversified her skill set over the years. She has delved into highly specialised areas such as visceral manipulation and craniosacral therapy, honing her craft through rigorous training at prestigious institutes like Barral and Upledger as well as mastering muscle energy techniques under the guidance of Advanced Manual Therapy Associates.
With 28 years of hands-on experience, Carolyn has cultivated a finely tuned approach to patient care emphasising holistic treatment for injury management, healing and overall well-being. Her approach goes beyond mere treatment, it empowers patients with personalised strategies and exercises, equipping them with the tools to manage injuries effectively and prevent future recurrences.
Recognised for her expertise, Carolyn has been invited to share her knowledge by assisting in the teaching of visceral manipulation techniques at the Barral Institute. Continuously seeking to enhance her skills, she remains committed to ongoing education and professional development ensuring that she stays at the forefront of her field.
In her spare time Carolyn loves keeping fit, travelling and practicing yoga.
